repair, we thought no more about it, as we did not live in the house, and the tenants never complained again until now the boiler has stopped working, we called out British Gas as Ian Duffy would not go out and look at problem they have told me repairs have not been done and they could not do work, I contacted Baxi customer service who informed me that they had not been informed about any fault in the past, this was after Ian Duffy had told me they went to property the day after I contacted him and could not gain access, this was a total lie, he never told me they were going as I would have let them in, my tenant has now no heating or hot water due to this and Ian does not care.
Baxi Engineer has now had to fit new Heat Exchange Unit, cost of Unit is £250 + Labour luckily we got done under warranty, the engineer said he has never seen a unit so corroded in such a short time, I asked him the reason it was in such poor condition, and he said whoever fitted new boiler did not put any rust inhibitor back into system after they fitted, that would be IAN DUFFY, beware of this Company. Bodge it and scarper comes to mind! Over charge customers for a 10 minute job nearly £90! Left a mess and the fault still remains!
