Admissions for pupils

Councils in Scotland generally allocate school places according to whether you live in the school's catchment area. This school's catchment area is displayed on the map above (subject to data availability). In almost all cases, schools are able to offer places to all applicants from within its catchment area. Most addresses in Scotland will fall within the catchment area of two schools: a denominational and a non-denominational school.

You should also note that you have the right to make a placement request to attend a school other than your catchment school. However, such placement requests are quite rare, and may be refused if there is insufficient space at that school. Please contact your local council for further information.
