In many cases they have paid up their mortgage and enjoy a high disposable income earned as directors or professionals. Although qualifications are lower than the Affluent Singles & Couples group, they still remain high. They are extremely serious investors, being nine times more likely to have substantial shareholdings than the average. They are well able to maintain repayments and so represent a low credit risk. They read the quality press.
