Business Description:

We provide an accessible point of entry to a range of free or low cost counselling and support services.

The centre is run by a small team of part-time staff and a large team of volunteer counsellors and receptionists. The CCC has been operating since 1992 and its counsellors possess a wealth of experience and and knowledge of the local voluntary sector.

The Centre receives up to 3,000 referrals a year. Individual client needs include issues such as depression, stress, bereavement, trauma, childhood abuse or carer responsibility. With increasing social and economic pressure, client numbers continue to grow annually. The services run by the CCC provide an important addition to GP care, and we are unique in offering a variety of free or low cost counselling approaches in a friendly, non-clinical environment in Central Milton Keynes.

In 2009 the CCC won national recognition from the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) in the form of it's annual award for Excellence in Practice. In 2012 each of the services run and managed by the CCC attained BACP accreditation.
