nurse practioner for some dermavate cream. She refused point blank to prescribe me any, leaving me with a prescription instead for anti histamines, which frankly I could have brought over the counter.
Needless to say, anti histimaines did nothing for the excema. I consulted with a pharmacist on bank Holiday, the excema having spread rapidly all over my face and the itching having driven me mad. She told me specifically to see a doctor to get some cream for it. I repeated what I already written on the Good Friday referral sheet, with the exception that I had now seen a pharmacist. I asked specifically to see a GP about it. I saw another nurse practioner, after another wait of three quarters of an hour, who eventually presecribed me the appropriate cream. It's now gone completely away.
I have asked for some feedback on this, from the practice manager. I am still waiting for some answers having spent most of my Easter down at the centre just for a prescription to do the job. Iwas also accused of not listening to advice, I am refusing to have another GP in Hull, due to dreadful problems... but I wondered who it was who isn't listening? Show less
